So far my Pinterest self-grounding has worked! I'm more creative, independently inspired and guess what! 16 out of every 20 pins I make get repinned! Some have been repinned over 30 times!!! YAY!
Way to go! I love Pinterest more and more all the time, and am using it as an example of innovative online publishing for one of my classes. Thanks so much for your encouragement and support on my blog today, Hillary. It's really nerve-wracking to put my goals and dreams out there for others' judgement, and your encouragement means more than you will ever know. You should definitely start sketching again and see where it takes you. I love the design work you've posted and think that while it's scary to risk rejection and failure in the eyes of some critics, it's even harder to wonder what might have been.
@Heather I really feel that way! I am so glad you shared that. I think I will start sketching again. And should you write a children's book someday, I'd love to illustrate it. :o)
