UPDATE: This dress has become the 2nd Wedding dress to wear during pre-wedding photos. I don't want anyone seeing my dress before I'm getting married!!!
UPDATE: The final "look" of the vintage gown!!!
I heart vintage. In Omaha there's a sweet hippie store in the Midtown area called Cool Stuff.
It's rumored to have been there for...ever. It has EVERYTHING! There's incense, beaded curtains, posters, old ashtrays and napking holders, and clothes. OH, the clothes! They're all clean and none of them are ripped or stained. I've never seen anything like their clothes. They have the kind of vintage clothes you hope you'll find when you go out to find something in vain at the Goodwill.
Anyway... I found a gem tucked into the clothes one of the last weekends there. It was snowing and blowing and I had to go into Midtown to get a prescription anyway so Shawn suggested we pop in. There she was... in all her Gunne Sax glory...
My Rehearsal Dinner Dress. If I didn't have my wedding dress I'd be wearing this one!
True to Cool Stuff's form, the dress was perfect: no rips in the allover lace, no stains, and it looked new. It was on sale for $15.00 and it fits perfectly. The length is even good with me barefoot! Later at home I went over it with a keen eyeball and I could only find one flaw: its original owner's high heel caught the lining in the back and made a small fray. This was one incredible find.

I love this dress! I tried on my grammy's but it would not quite work for me. It was yellowish and a bit snug! But this one is gorgeous, if I had a fall wedding this would be what id want!
